Default Xbox One - HAHAH

Xbox One -- Microsoft confirms its new console MUST BE CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET AT LEAST ONCE EVERY 24 HOURS.

After doing so you'll be allowed to game, offline, for a maximum of 24(real world, not game-time) hours.

Well it was OFFICIALLY confirmed today, indirectly by Konami during their pre-E3 thing.

I'm sure Microsoft is real happy, lol

watched the video on xbox live or whatever, seems pretty cool i guess.

I'm getting to the age where im about to throw out my tv, ive already gotten rid of my cell phone. the older i get the less i see technology as being vital, simply a distraction,

Sounds like they just want to make it into Windows 8..well I have a computer that I do everything on that I don't even need a console (outside of my PS3). Emulation of older consoles and Free streaming/Netflix is the way to go. Then hook it up through HDMI to my projector that can get up to 80 inches? Yeah, Xbox One can take a place in a "no thank you" bin. Add in this news and paying for old games, Micro$oft should just remove itself from the industry because everyone I know wants nothing to do with the Xbox One even after years of supporting the Xbox 360 > PS3.

I'll probably end up getting a PS4 tho, as I've always supported Sony and it's nice to have the newest gen console. Just happens Sony provides me the best service and isn't after me for my money (not as obvious atleast).

Hardware wise the XboxOne and PS4 are almost identical. I doubt there will be many games that are on one and not the other unless its a licensing thing. MS owns it, Sony owns it, etc.

For this reason, I don't think it'll need to be connected to the internet in the end. Regardless of whether its confirmed or not. They'll most likely reverse that if not before than after launch when more people find out about it.

Actually no they aren't. PS4 has a serious upper hand.

GDDR5 RAM vs. DDR3 AND the Xbox OS has 3GB dedicated to the OS.

PS4 has a faster CPU and GPU also.

In the grand scheme of what you will notice or won't, they are virtually identical. That extra horsepower will probably never get used and the PS4 will once again likely cost $100 more for no reason.

Negatory. PS4 isn't bundling a HAL9000 Kinect, and the RAM is being used in a more effective manner to handle OS/Update tasks than the Xbone is. Add in more GPU/CPU power and yes, it will be noticeably faster.
