Quest Issue: Rod of Insidious Glamour

I finished the quest of Rod of Insidious Glamour except the last step. It requires me to cast alliance to get more than indifferently to npc. But when I cast it that npc will aggro which this spell shouldn't aggro.
Then he ate my item when I turn in.

how did you turn in items if he agro'd you? or you saying you didnt cast alliance cuz you were scared he would agro you and so he ate your items?

yes i didnt cast it becuz he will aggro. ytd night i casted on a npc that aggroed me and killed me

i know its pending update. but when and am I gonna get rezzed exp for it and get the finished item?

Not sure if they will or won't, but that is not what the bugs forum is for. I believe you'd either petition in game or in the petition forum.
