Default Warcraft 3 Everquest Map

If you grew up playing EQ and WC3 you would love this WC 3 map called venturai quest. it was made years and years ago by someone with a love for eq and still to this day it brings back fond memories.

This map has notable npc's and zone's like Lower Guk - Permafrost - Plane of Fear. Permafrost being the first raid zone (vox, ice dragon model) and then plane of fear (golems and cazic thule). You will need 12 good players fully geared with epic to beat plane of fear.

Currently downloading wc3 to play this again but anyone interested should look me up on the U.S East server, name is Malicre.

For anyone interested i think this is the latest version http://www.epicwar.com/maps/116765/

Not the best version, the earlier ones allowed loot to be traded at any level instead of no drop.

nice [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] I wanted to make custom EQ map when I was playing around with WC3 - classes etc, but never really got the time.

I did however made EQ world map for Warlords 3 [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
Its not 100% matches to EQ, but its close.

The people who invented the first space ships were brilliant. That doesn't mean anybody should actually want to use them 200 years later. Ideas are limited by means of execution. Everquest has amazing ideas that need to be completely reworked in their execution, in order for classic Everquest as it was envisioned to actually exist and continue to be relevant as things have evolved.

always loved making custom wc3 maps

had a baller king of the hill map that floated around for awhile

my de_dust counter-strike map was better tho. was an almost perfect replica of the map, could buy guns, armor, defusal kits and terrorists could plant the bomb etc etc.

good times for sure. wish I still had the files.

Yeah, if there is enough interest we can try and set 2 nights a week to play it. we would need 12 people that want to play. Epic's can be aquired in the game but you have to do the quest for them at a very high level. Plane of Fear, which is the endgame zone, requires pretty much a full house (12 people) all level 60 with epic's.

Even tho this map is on WC3 its not easy, trust me.
