Default new but old player stupid question

new to 1999 old to everquest in general

I just made an iksar necromancer and unless I am completely lost (good chance I am getting old) I can not seem to find the spell vendors in the tower of death, I was sure they were there and I even recall there was a couple of quests. I saw the female vendor outside that sells some of the higher level spells but nowhere could I find where to buy my low level pet and etc.

Are the vendors not in the tower of death? was that later? any help would be appreciated!

and this is most likely a total derp on my end =p

Tower is #1 on the West Cab map, your spells are at #8.

Yeah, they really hid those spell vendors for ikky's. Would be a real pain without the map. I wandered around the Tower for a while too before I figured it out.
