Default Wow! and hello!

Just wanted to say hi. I haven't played eq in years and when I caught wind of this I thought I'd give it a try...what a blast! It's so hard to do anything compared to all the other mmo's out there, or at least it is for me! I rolled a SK (Valdeth) if anyone is looking for a hand at the lowest levels (over an hour and I'm level 2 finally lol). 1 quick question; mistake rolling hybrid with the xp penalties back, grouping-wise? Thanks in advance and cya in game!

Valdeth.

Nah. The only people that are worried about grouping with hybrids are twits.

^^ What Fright said, lol. Just have fun, and welcome! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Depends on your race your xp problems could be compounded (Troll SK = -68%)

Xp penalty is also shared with group mates....turns some people away let's be honest.

If you enjoy an SK a lot it doesn't matter in the long run but just know you might find some frustration. Further, in my experience and you may find as well that many tanks leveling up now are mostly twinks of high levels. I feel many groups have come to expect twinks. Just some things to think about.

Everyone is overlooking the obvious plus of being a hybrid, when you die your XP bar barely moves backwards at all!
