Default Chat menu not working

So. I just bought a new computer and I installed EQ on it for the first time. I log in and I tried to right click my main chat window to bring up the chat menu and it doesnt seem to work. Ive restarted my computer, reloaded the UI, re installed EQ. I don't know how to fix this. Im running windows 8.1. Could that be the problem?

Are you running in administrator? Should probably also post in the technical forum.

If MMORPG players were around when God said, "Let there be light" they'd have called the light gay, and plunged the universe back into darkness by squatting their nutsacks over it.

In the options menu (Alt+O), make sure "Allow Context Menus" is clicked on. I have found that it sometimes becomes mysteriously clicked off on its own, so be ever vigilant!
