Default Locked Door in Qeynos

According to http://wiki.project1999.com/Skill_Pick_Lock there's supposed to be a locked door with a minimum skill of 1 in Qeynos. The loc suggests it's one of the doors under the Arena, but none of them are locked.

As this seems to be the only door you can pick with a skill of 1, and as a bard I can't train myself up to 11 to work the Befallen doors I really need to know if I'm just looking in the wrong spot or what.

Could always throw a couple of skill points (from your trainer) into Pick Lock, then head to befallen.

Sounds like a bug to me unless you don't have any training points remaining.

Definitely sounds like a bug.

The standard way to train lock pick is to train it to 11 at your trainer and pick Befallen until the end of your days. If you don't train your skill up to 11 first, it is impossible to ever skill up afaik.

But if someone does find that door in Qeynos, I'd like to know where it is :P

If you know which one it is supposed to be I would post it in bugs forum to get fixed.

This definitely is a bug. I've never played a bard to that level, but I have always been under the impression that when you put a point into a new skill that you haven't trained yet, it automatically increases your skill to your current level. Since bards get pick lock at 40, putting a single point in should boost you right up to 40 shouldn't it?

In any case, that door in Qeynos should not exist (if it even does) because the first door in Befallen which requires 11 skill was always the lowest required skill check. This led many people to think the skill was bugged at first, since rogues got the skill at level 6 meaning they started with a skill of 6, but 6 wasn't high enough to work on any existing locked doors.

Aha I think there is a different issue then. The Bard Trainer doesn't list Pick Locks as requiring level 40. I thought it was like level 10 or 11 and it just wasn't letting me train it up higher.

I could be wrong, I just saw level 40 in the Bard Wiki page [ http://wiki.project1999.com/Bard ]. Again, I've never played a bard past level 10 or so and that was during Luclin era and not on P1999. I was already tired of twisting songs by level 10.

I know I can train PL on my Rogue at the trainer with a skill of over 50 if I have points left.
