Why has the the price of an FBSS risen insanely from 10kish to 15kish now up to 20kish? What has happened? Increase in demand? Decrease in supply? Do we have a monopoly situation arising? What's going on?

been wondering the exact same thing. I mean, Kunark isn't out, but FBSS isn't exactly a make/break twink item regardless of the era. Woo 21% haste..[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] So now your twink ranger is doing an extra.. what.. 5dps?

Aside from weapons, haste would be your top priority in getting up there since it adds the most dps increase.

Besides, there isn't anything else out there right now besides dragon haste and 99% of the server will not get those.

Supply/demand. Unless the market becomes flooded, it will not reduce in price.

It wouldn't be selling for 20k if people weren't paying 20k.

Only non-weapon way to increase your DPS in game. It'll get worse when Kunark comes out, I've got one and I'm waiting till thenish to sell it.

Supposed decreased drop rate. More people making twinks. You know, the usual things that makes prices go up. Manastones went from 30-35 to 60-70 in a week.

"Supposed" is the key word there. Nothing has mechanically changed.
One of the primary suppliers getting permatized though.

So it seems nobody really knows the reason. Probably a combination of too little farming and too many melee twinks being prepared for kunark.
