Rogue newbie-how to outfit with 1500plat?

Started playing with some friends in a guild and they were nice enough to give me some starter cash, plus I've been selling orc scalps like mad.

I have a jagged chokidai spine and some other random things like iksar hide gloves and one serp bracer.

Where can I get the most bang for my buck? About to hit 13 so will need to start thinking about an offhand as well.

Spiked Collar(20pp)
Grey Fur Cape or White Wolf Hide Cloak(300-400pp)

Plow every cent you have into a good mainhand piercer. Go to KC and loot rotting Jarsath for armor.

Invest new money into basics like 55hp rings. The remaining items can be bought on th cheap to fill holes or simply looted during your teens (Ringmail etc...).

Bone razor or trakasaurus tooth would be a good bet.

In looking at your current weapon the 11 damage is nice but the delay is going to hurt. Your call really but overall I've always been a fan of money on weapon and let armor come later.
