One of the rarest mobs in the game. Rummored to spawn once a calendar year (not EQ year). I have seen only two of these shields on live and I one in P99 (early days, when rares were spawing "too often").

Yep, PH changed now to be roaming.
No clue about the PH/spawn triggers though, just the PH node locs.

oooh We saw and killed Dunedigger in NRo at Derv3 a couple nights ago! All he had was an armadillo skin though. >.< So not sure about the once-per-year spawn rate.
