Completely Separate, Stays out of EQ's Memory Space and performs no actions. Expanding upon this concept, what information would you like to see? Damage done this session, damage done to mob, etc? What skills/abilities. Disc cooldowns seem the most helpful (Like mend). I'd love to hear what you might want to see. If you're interested in giving it a test drive down the road, PM me and I'll keep you informed when there's a version ready for distribution.

![]() The basic idea seems very, very cool; kudos! It did seem like a lot of the info was redundant however: everything it told you could already be seen on your action buttons/buffs bar (and at at the end, when your JBoots were dispelleed, the HUD was actually less accurate).
The one thing that did seem uniquely valuable was the mend timer: unlike most actions, mend takes so long that you might well forget how much longer you need to wait. Stuff like that which you can't already see is where I think the HUD can really shine. Here's a few random (completely pie in the sky) ideas:
I'm sure there are all sorts of other cool things you can do with the HUD, as the idea has tons of potential. I really hope you keep developing it!

![]() You can already get this similar functionality with GamTextTriggers. But a very cool idea and implementation.

![]() Quote:
The other disadvantage (as I understand it) is that GTT uses contains rules, so people regularly could mess with this. I use starts/contains/ends to validate a true trigger. It would be fun to get to the point where I could have timers for roots, etc. I like bringing in some of the external data as well. I very well may work on adding the wiki maps into the library today and have a map-splash option for like 5 seconds. Something like /emote WHEREAMI:<ZONE> and it would pop up the zone map. Possibly add a /loc read for a pinpoint shortly thereafter. The complexity to a zone map is I'd have to grid out each map in order to place the point. Anywho, something to do, any suggestions on stuff people would like to see would be helpful. As for EC, I hope to have something along those lines in the near future that I've been working on, but not shared.

![]() HarmTouch Timer would be awesome. Half the time the button is not flagged as used and you dont know if its up or not till its to late, if its not up generaly it can result in a CR.

![]() The obvious application for something like this, in my mind, is that people could use /loc to bring back their in-game maps. EQWatcher actually has a kinda similar function, but EQW is audio instead of visual.
Could also possibly build out a raid manager using this concept, although syncing groups would require some creativity. If anybody ever got to the point where entire raids were all running the same networked parser you could essentially bring back the full set of raid tools, minus loot controls and XP share.
