![]() So, I will start this off by saying that I don't have a high end computer that I play on. The problem that I am having is that once I leave the desktop and start up everquest. My laptop monitor goes brighter, and I don't get the same color saturation as I would without Everquest running. Hard to explain it exactly, but the screen is brighter and just doesn't look right. Does anyone have any idea what would cause this?
If I close out of EQ and restart computer then the colors on the display revert back to a much better appearance, thoughts? | ||

![]() The old EQ client overwrites the gamma setting of your video card - you can either lower it in game to match your desktop, or just deal with it.
If you camp/exit out normally, the desktop setting will come back.
