Default over 255 resists ?

Does anyone know for sure if there is a reason to have more then 255 resist ?
cause on classic live after they fixed the over 255 start at 0 again feature they hard caped it at 255 so even if you had more it still got counted as if you had the max 255.
(points over 255 didn't do anything)

If you're packing 255 in any resist I think you're doing well. STR/STA/etc is capped that way, so I'd imagine there's something in place for the resists too.

There's no cap on resists. You can get 300+ with a bard around and then laugh in the face of whatever dragon you're fighting as you resist all of its shit.

I don't know I've had almost 400 MR and still got feared by Severilious.

What he is saying is that having resists over 255 is not classic! Also, resists on live actually did something instead of here where we still get dragon feared at 300+ MR

Interesting. Has anyone found evidence and put a bug report in?
