Quick question about +39 Magician pets

I see on the wiki that from 39 and above, our pets have a set level. Can anyone confirm this?

No other pet class has that, so I find it a little hard to believe.

I'm so used to chain casting to get the max level pet, but if this is true, it would make me so happy! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Edit: I also wanted to add, since the level, health and damage also seem fixed, what improves about the pet when its focused?
