Picking a Class

Hey everyone,

I wanted to start up on Red but wasnt sure what to go with. I kind of wanted to play either a wizard or rogue. Are either decent in the pvp scene? I know it might be very hard to solo the rogue up but I am more interested in just the pvp and I wasnt sure how resists were on the wizard.

It will be very difficult to find low level groups on this server. Play a class that can solo well.

rogues can rape in pvp if you get gear/epic. once you get into a guild, getting rogue epic is easy. you are always wanted in groups/raids/pvp to dps.

fire/cold nukes going to get nerfed next patch. wizard still prob the easier route. can solo, port, explode ppl. to ease yourself into the server, wizard is probably best. but play what class you think will entertain you the most i'd say.

Why SK? I don't see a tanking class being very good pvp or soloing. I thought wizard would be fun but I was worried how the resists worked that you would not be able to get nukes off on people.

he's trolling you dude. Sk is the hardest shit to level in the game. you will quit if you try and level SK solo on this server. unless you love to solo in rags, get ganked by random ppl, and be ostracized from groups because of your exp penalty

snare at 15 invis at 30
see invis, shadowstep, dots, taps, eventually stuff like self DS and lev...
plus, have you ever heard of HARM TOUCH???? kids wake up in the middle of the night sweating for weeks after that ability gets used
