Worth rolling on r99 with such low pop?

I kind of like the idea of starting over from scratch without all the temptations of twinking out any new alts etc. So rolling on r99 with a couple friends sounds like it could be pretty fun, but I just wonder if it would be a waste of time in the long run with only like 60-100 ppl online? Seems like it would be more like playing EQ in Coop mode, rather then MMO mode lol.

Also wasnt there talk about a new teams pvp server coming soon as well, wont that effect r99 pop even further?

No it's not a waste of time to come over here. You can camp what you want to camp and level up at just the right pace. It's a little more work than blue, but you can muster together a group after a while.

As for the teams server, I wouldn't worry about that too much. The teams server isn't going to happen for a long time and after it reaches the velious timeline it will either be merged with red, or red will be merged with teams from what I understand.

I think I might give it a shot actually, see how it is. Any suggested class, considering I know nothing about how things are are r99? I mean for example, Id imagine rolling a Rogue solo would be a bad idea lol. Is it suggested to go something like a Necro or Druid?

I was actually thinking Shaman or Enchanter maybe. Ive got 2 buddies who will most likely being giving it a shot with me and I think they are going to do Mage and Wizard. Which class would you guys say would go best with Mage/Wizard on a PvP server like this one?
