![]() When my Polished Granite Tomahawk procs Berserker Strength on my rogue, every time the mob hits me it absorbs the hit as it should, but it also heals me. I wonder how long this has gone on with people abusing it? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

![]() Yeah, my level 11 rogue can kill even con NPCs, getting hit down to 60%, and by the time the fight is over if I'm lucky enough with procs, I'll be back in the 90's because of the rune absorb heals.
I'd also like to add, that damage shields aren't reporting messages or doing damage when this effect from the PGT is active.

![]() Does it really heal? I've been using it forever and never noticed that.

![]() Also, I should add that there's a buff I sometimes get (probably a shaman buff) that gives me the "your spell did not take hold" message when PGT procs. I'm not sure if it's supposed to do this because I don't know which buff does this, but I've only been noticing this recently.
Then again, it might just be giving the message because of one of my songs (as I usually don't twist haste-song or other similar stuff). Maybe someone who knows what they're talking about could enlighten me.

![]() I've just tested berserker strength over and over on my enchanter. I nuked myself down to half and it never once healed me. I'll try it out with an actual PGT later, but that's the spell that it procs.
And yeah, it's a strength buff, it will overwrite lesser strength buffs and get blocked by better strength buffs. Edit.. Nevermind I can't test it with an actual PGT. I don't have a character that can use it at high enough level to proc it.

I should also add that this effect does not happen with all runes. I use runes all the time and I wind up low health.. If this is happening, it's just with the Berzerker strength. It could be a heal that is also happening when it procs as opposed to the spell itself. I cast in on my enchanter pet now and then and haven't noticed any heals while he's getting smacked down.

![]() I wasn't using it to try to prevent damage, I nuked myself to half prior to testing so that I could see if my hitpoints increased after casting the spell.

![]() the OP is saying that when the mobs hits, the spell soaks up the dmg but then also heals him for the dmg that it soaked.
so to replicate you would need to get dmged, rune, take some hits. like i said i used axe of slayers a lot on my war and never noticed any kind of healing and i would have when soloing in my 40s with it. However it uses the proc Ramage which is different from the zerker str buff from tomohawk

![]() Thanks for the clarification Yoite.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZgCi2Vsdvg There ya go. Half health to full in 3 berserker strengths by just sitting with newbie zone mobs beating on me while the spell was active. This explains why enchanters are so popular and levelling so fast....[You must be logged in to view images.
