Lodizal Shell Shield

Currently, the questgiver Bungre Crawcrusher asks for the shield and 10,000 gold to craft the shield. The P99 Wiki states:

A Section of Lodizal's Shell drops from Lodizal in the Iceclad Ocean. Bring it back along with the 10,000 gold pieces (1,000 platinum also works).

Tested the platinum part a couple days ago and handed shell in along with 1,000 plat, but Bungre told me I was missing part of the turn-in. Went back in with 10,000 gold to turn in, and it worked. Can anyone else confirm this?

Confirmed classic.

Classic required gold for turnins when it asked for gold.
JBoot require the 3250 gold
Fire Opals require the 550 gold
Etc.

It's one slow run from CS Portal to Bungre from a bank... It isn't that bad.
