60 Necro? How many hours would it take to get a cleric from 14-29?

I like doing bard style PL for sub-20s myself (pull all of befallen with mana skin and banshee aura up, sit and med while mobs kill themselves on 16 point ds - PLee just has to tag mobs).

On higher things (above 20) I'd think that wouldn't work as well and dot/FD would have to be used, but even mobs who die in one dot are going to be taking ~300 mana per kill, which from what I've experienced giving PL to higher level people (20 to 40) ends up being about 20 to 30 yellow/red cons an hour, which is nowhere near what the AOE method does (that gives about 20 to 30 mobs per pull every 15 min, so like 120 an hour).

I wonder if theres a good necro PL trick I'm missing (undead charming/breaking charm to keep kill rate fast without any mana issues?)

Works the same as a monk pl. So yes it follows a dot and fd method. While the bard method is great for classes with an aoe spell, it won't work so great for others.

I will agree some classes are prime candidates for bard PL, and should invest wisely; where they receive the greatest benefit.

But to answer your question you aren't missing anything.
