![]() I got the wow mouse when it came out. It's complete garbage, from the laser precision, to the craftsmanship, to the software that constantly fights with my control panel. Anyone used one of those Razer Naga things, or want to recommend something different?
Definitely ready to chuck this in the toilet like the piece of shit that it is.

![]() Good enough of a recommendation for me.
I looked at abyssus, but it didnt have enough buttons. Overnighting that shit. I got that teflon mousepad too, not sure if it'll be worth it, but if I don't like it, I can always make some grilled cheese on it.

![]() The only real mice to choose from on the market now with reliable sensors, unless you're set on the form factor of a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 are:
Logitech g9x SteelSeries Xai Razer has really gone down hill for reliability beyond the Copperhead and DeathAdder series. I've gone through a lot of them in the last two years. The Mamba I had, only lasted 3 months (plugged in via USB, not wireless configured), sent it in for RMA service, got a refurb replacement and it had tracking issues (it was jumpy.) Razer recommended I update the firmware, which I did; the jerky motion in turn went away but periodically the mouse would stop responding entirely and would have to be removed from the USB port and plugged back in. That got me fragged quite a few times. I also tested it on my MacBook Pro in OS X with the same results, so it was the firmware update for certain. Set up another RMA and the mouse they sent me was dead on arrival. Sent that one back to them... Next mouse the right mouse button would stick. Gave them one more try, and the replacement I received was a brand new mouse (non-refurbished) and right out of the box it had the mouse wheel squeak problem. Didn't want to waste any more money shipping their crap back to them. It's still sitting in it's box under my desk. Logitech MX510 and MX518 series are also pretty reliable mice, but I've never been able to get used to how tall they are.

![]() Yeah this is a steelseries, and it has a very jumpy sensor. Imagine trying to tradeskill with a jumpy mouse at 1900x1200 on a 33" screen. The containers and icons are very small. I'd been fighting with that for a while, changing settings, maxing it out to 3200 dpi, enabling enhance pointer precision. Nothing helped it. The cheap paint also flaked off in no time.
But what did it in for me finally, was the buttons failing. I've had two mice in the last 10 years, prior to this. And this one's buttons fail on me in <1 yr. Out of however many buttons the damn thing has, about 7 can realistically be pressed without two hands on the mouse. And out of those, 5 work every time I hit them. I'll give razer a shot, since I've already ordered one out of frustration. If I need to send it back once, that'll be the only time I send it back.

![]() I really enjoy my corded Microsoft Sidewinder mouse. The weight and feel are just right for my big hands. Don't get the one with the metal wheel however, because it is hard to click the wheel button for some reason. The lesser model with the plastic wheel is fantastic, however.
