Default Forage / summoning item to hands

When foraging, or when I click my singing steel boots to summon water, sometimes I get something stuck on the cursor that I can't see. When I try to loot a mob, it ejects me from the corpse loot as if I clicked on a lore item (doens't hide corpse with /hidecorpse on). If I zone, the item will then show up on the cursor and I can put it in my inventory.

Not being able to loot is annoying, but the worst thing is during this bug if I click on an item to put it on my cursor, it will disconnect me. This can especially be dangerous since if I don't know I currently have an invis item on my cursor, I can disconnect at a very bad time.

This pretty much makes me scared to hit forage now or use my new boots to make water.

I've never been able to easily reproduce having an something get stuck on the cursor, but I have heard a common complaint about force eating till you get full and the remaining stack poofing but still on the cursor making you unable to loot.

Chain cast summon food (summon a single food item). Do it 5-6 times. Start placing them in the inventory - you'll notice you only placed like 3 before the cursor is empty. It's not actually empty, though.

That's how I noticed it.

Thanks. Will try that.

I know it is pretty hard to troubleshoot something that you can't always reproduce. Hopefully one way of doing it is easier than another (Khanable's method for example). The first time I experienced this was when I was still under level 20 and had forage bound to my movement keys. I know I never already had a foraged item on my cursor when I hit it again.

So, this can happen while getting a single item, not just back to back without dropping them into your inventory. Hopefully the method you are trying next works, but I'll keep trying to find the exact way to reproduce this.

seems this can also happening when trying to trade

if one is busy, or both trying to trade item/plat at the same time, item/plat will appear to poof and get stuck on cursor till relog
