Game Mechanics: Summoned Items Don't Poof

I had some summoned bread and water that I just logged in to find was still on me from an earlier session a few hours ago.

Odd update: After a few minutes I noticed the bread and water (2 each) had poofed and I was suddenly hungry and thirsty. Perhaps it never was actually still there?

This has happened to me with summoned arrows. They do not disappear and you cannot shot the arrows. Another odd things is when I clicked on them and went to destroy them it crashed my game. Not sure if anyone else has see this.

My cleric still had a summoned staff of runes on him from the previous night and when I went to destroy it I also instantly crashed

Did this stuff happen to you guys since the patch?

I had an issue with a no rent that decayed still appearing in my inventory and crashing me when I clicked it yesterday also, but it was the first time I logged on that character since before yesterday's server downtime and I assumed it was a 1-time issue connected to that downtime.

It will happen everytime you click on said summoned item. After you crash they will be gone after log in. Something to do with latest downtime.

i have experienced a few eqgame.exe crashes since patch. not sure if its been related to summoned items, but things like succoring crashed me

Yeah, I actually have crashed to startup screen that same day. I gated back to bind point (OT) and it kicked me out. Oddly enough it wasn't locking me out, so I wasn't LD in game, and was able to log right back in. I didn't think of it before, but it is possible I had summoned food on me after just logging back in.

Also, sorry I didn't see this thread that got put up the same day. I coulda swore I looked over the page, but I must have missed it. Mods, feel free to combine the threads if you want:

Just happened to me. Was super surprised to find my summoned bag of food still in my inventory. Clicked it and immediately crashed. Finally got back in, and it was gone
