Default Hi! New + Need Opinions

Hi,

I'm new. Friend of mine is getting me to play again.

He's got a Necro & Druid. What would be a good duo class for those?

I like Clerics, Mages, and Druids but obviously don't want to double up on the druid ;-)

I'd shoot for something to duo with his druid, as necros are kind of the kings of solo (well, maybe princes next to bards, but necromancer is the easiest class for it) and anything but a necro will seem lackluster in comparison.

Either that or just go cleric to ensure you guys always get groups, clerics are the best healers.

Wizard? Would make for some nice quad kiting.

Monk? Not a bad dps/heal combo.

Necro? Funnily a good combo, regen is nice and dots don't overlap.

FWIW, soloing on my enchanter has been much quicker (but also more challenging) than on my necro.

Monk or Rogue don't seem like terrible options for fear kiting or snare kiting. If melee isn't really your thing Wizard might not be exactly horrible.

I think I would agree, either a Rogue or a Monk adding DPS to the Necro's fear kite would just be win/win.
Something to go with the Druid is kind of harder to choose since mostly when a Druid is soloing, he/she is kiting, not always but mostly. Something that can run and shoot or do other things. A Shaman would be good as you would be getting all kinds of money for both of your alternate skills for donations.
