Tradeskill Question

Hello everybody!

I am a new player to p1999, originally playing EQ from the beginning of the Kunark Expansion and quit during the LoY expansion. So far my experience on p1999 has been great.

I have a few questions about tradeskills:
1. Can one character have multiple tradeskills over 200?
2. Does a character have to be of the corresponding race to create cultural forged and tailored armors? ie: can a gnome make dwarven plate? Troll make ogre mail, etc.
3. Does one have to be of the corresponding religion in the case of imbued armors (to create them)? Or just have the imbued gem? ie: Can an agnostic dark elf make Inny imbued adamanite armor?

1. No. The exception being class or racial tradeskills, specifically make poison, alchemy and tinkering which can also go over 200.
2. Yes, it is race restricted.
3. No. You just need someone to perform the imbue for you. Obviously easier to do it yourself, but it's doable.

The good cultural armors aren't really feasible atm, because they require blue diamonds as components until later in Velious. That ups the creation price to far higher than what it's worth to craft the stat gear (dwarven / high elf / dark elf smithing). But it'll be possible later on, if that's what you're basing a race choice off of. Whether or not those armors will be good by that point in time...

Don't forget, half-elves and halflings can go over 200 on tailoring with cultural

Humans, Dark Elves, Ogres, Dwarves and High Elves can go over 200 on blacksmithing with their cultural as well.
