Default Strange spell gem refresh behavior

Normally Entrance has cooldown longer than the casting bar (3.75s vs 2.25). However, when I use a clicky to refresh my bar, I can cast it again instantly. The same thing happens with fetter. This bug appears to only occur in the top slot; fetter has a normal cooldown in my normal slot (3).

Also I tried this with Theft of Thought, and the server complained.

I'm guessing this is an artifact of whatever hack you guys used to implement this, but I thought I'd mention it.

If I could log on to beta, my guess is that shamans can chain canni 4 till the cows come home if they clicky and its in the top slot though, which is kinda op.

I keep tash in the top slot and noticed it's refreshed instantly, however I'm given the "you are not ready" or some such nonsense dialogue when I try to cast it with its cooldown timer.

Do you get the same or are you legit able to cast + land it?

Same happens with "summon orb" for mages. Its a 5 min recast but sometimes the button pops up right away, however when you cast it says something along "spell recovery not met".

Yes, I had to move canni down a slot because it would insta pop instead of waiting for the cool down and would complain about refresh time if I didn't time it right.

So yea, the 1st gem appears to avoid the spells normal lockout.

However if the spells cast time is less than its lockout (IE the spell casts in 1s but takes 2.5s to lockout) the spell will say not ready when you finish casting it. I believe if it has a longer cast time than the lockout, the cast will go through.

Canni4 for example has a 2.5s cast time, but a 3s recast time. It should yield the "spell not ready text" if put in slot 1 and cast right away after instaclicky.
