Default patch notes?

So I have noticed a few changes that must have been made to bards last night and was wondering if we could get some patch notes.

Changes I have noticed include:

Mob pets no longer poof when you try to charm them (fair enough, knew that wouldn't last forever)
Our low level charm now fades on it's own after 1 tic.
That's all I can think of off hand.

I'm guessing other things have been changed as well.

Other changes to bards;

Mana regeneration effects no longer work on bards.

Even the higher level charm now fades after playing for 1 tick, it doesn't self-refresh.

Introduction of Stun and mez bugs.

I don't mind the nerfs to bards coming to make them more like classic, however it would be nice if they were matched with upgrades to bards to make them more like classic at the same time.

Bind Sight song is still bugged and mez song still lacks a push component, both would be very useful tools for pulling.

Wow, Bard Charm is only supposed to last one tick (knows very little about bards)?

Well it should be 3 tics like nearly all other songs.

I just started on this server as a bard and was hoping to level some by charm kiting... how long do things usually take to fix when it comes to patches? Just curious since I am new to how things work around here.

Depends on how detrimental it is and how much people complain.

I wanted to first see the patch notes before I go posting this in the bug forum as I wasn't 100% certain that this was not an intended change.

As far as I know there has been nothing posted by anyone else yet either.

Should probably be in another section, but there's also been some serious mob warping since the rollback. Mobs seem to be zippping across your screen.

To boot we have summoning planar mobs now, which is quite entertaining [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

It's disappointing that changes go in without patch notes. I can understand when there are oversights and they miss posting the notes. The issue is when changes are made which have a big negative effect and no mention is listed. The adjustment to the XP penalties etc. was a good example of this. It was not clearly defined in the patch notes but people most certainly noticed. This causes a perception of "stealth-nerfs" which shouldn't exist on this server. Yes, people may complain about unpopular changes but that's the nature of the beast. You can't please them all.

The changes that were made mainly have to do with mana. Unless the spells file was updated too, the pulse based mana may not be fully functional. But it should be close.

Bard charm should last a duration of 3 ticks. The buff on the caster wears off at one tick, because I did not change the basic mechanics on how buffs are refreshed, and lacked details on how bard charm totally should work.

The charm should last 3 ticks though. The charm will have to fade before charm can be resung/landed again on the mob. The aggro for bard charm should be totally changed. You should be able to recharm, and charmed mob get aggro back pretty darn fast. I am trying to reproduce the classic bard charm behavior.

The resinging of songs, should no longer give a faded message too.

Those are some of the things I was working on for bards.
