Default NPC position updating

Noticed tonight when the wizard in our group (south west derv camp in north ro) would nuke the mobs: instead of running past all of us melee it would simply warp to them. This was after we were engaged and mob had already lost substantial health from melee attacks.

It happened not just one time, but seemingly every single time the wizard took agro and was more than melee distance away from the mob.

Not sure if these mobs acted this way before, or if it is an issue with other mobs; but while in the eastern-most orc camp in East Commons, with a group, the mobs never warped to the necro when she did the same. They simply ran as normal.

I cannot provide any more info as to if it was due to the incline of the landscape (orcs was flatland vs dervs on a hillside) or simple a condition of the mobs reaction themselves as I had no way to test any other conditions.
I can say there was no abnormal lag spikes involved during the mob teleportation. The mobs do not bug out on the scenery and are as killable as ever. The only thing missing seems to be their updating of positions when they swap targets to someone out of range of melee.
