![]() If you recast it immediately (less than a second) after you get interrupted, even if nothing hits you again and you aren't moving, the recast will most likely get interrupted or be forced to make a channeling check.
This is most noticeable when mashing a key trying to get a spell off. It seems that the quicker after the interrupt you recast, the more likely it will get interrupted for no good reason. The only way to avoid this is waiting a second after getting interrupted to cast again. The problem is, the longer you wait, the more likely something will hit you again and interrupt you again anyway, so it's kind of a catch 22. Here's an example of a noob enchanter simply standing still trying to cast suffocating sphere on a bat. It took 5 attempts to land the spell. Two of those attempts are interrupted for apparently no reason -- there is no damage between the cast start and cast interrupt. [Sun May 01 06:03:41 2016] You begin casting Suffocating Sphere. [Sun May 01 06:03:42 2016] A giant bat kicks YOU for 1 point of damage. [Sun May 01 06:03:42 2016] A giant bat bites YOU for 16 points of damage. [Sun May 01 06:03:43 2016] Your spell is interrupted. [Sun May 01 06:03:43 2016] You begin casting Suffocating Sphere. [Sun May 01 06:03:44 2016] Your spell is interrupted. [Sun May 01 06:03:44 2016] You begin casting Suffocating Sphere.
