Default Improving Performance on Wine/OSX

P1999 works great for me using the Mac winewrapper and the guide provided on this here site. But I've noticed some frame-rate issues when on raids with 50+ people, particularly at the entrance to Hate and at other times when people are compressed into a small area.

It's becoming difficult to play at times like this.

I've tried messing with FPS in the EQ game display settings, I've turned spell particles off and reduced the Sky to simple, but I'm still having trouble.

I'm on a 27" iMac running the game windowed at 1920x1200 resolution. It doesn't seem to be stressing the machine out at all, I think the bottleneck might be my Wine config.

Any tips for editing eqclient.ini or Wine config settings to improve performance? Or maybe there's another aspect I've missed?
