Default EQ Crash on launch with memory error

[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I was playing and then somehow I must have opened another EQ window and both crashed.

When I click my eq shortcut it now opens in fullscreen at a weird resolution. Before I played on Windowed.

I can log in, and select the server, but when then it crashes.

When I open up EQ, it is fullscreened 640x860 resolution. I go to options and it brings up the external application where I change the resolution to 1600x1200. I have to alt tab to the EQ window to get it to show up, even then when I select a server it still crashes with this error

EQ has an issue with full screen on this server I believe. Personally, the Only way I can get it to work is using windowed mode.

I say try to edit your eqclient.ini file and change a few lines. (my personal settings)
Under [Defaults]
WindowedMode=TRUE

Under [VideoMode]
Width=1920
Height=1080
WidthWindowed=1900
HeightWindowed=1000

Your results may vary!

Same issue here. Exact same computer as before but I just installed Windows 8.1 Pro.

Yes I know I shouldn't have done that...

Hopefully I've attached my eqclient.ini file (had to be zipped as the forum doesn't allow .ini files to be uploaded :/

Remember you'll need to go through it and adjust things like the screen resolution to your own settings [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Has anyone tried a system restore? I know that's a bit over the top but I had a similar problem that was solved after going back to a save on the 2nd August.

Thanks i'll see what I can do with this, and unfortunately the reason this problem occured is my computer decided for me to install 8.1 I think so all my restore points are gone.

PS Which of my own settings are you refferring to ? my eq reso or my desktop reso ?
