Quick Question re. Faydedar

Hey guys I'm levelling my first char on server and having a blast [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I use the firepot room a fair bit for travel (being an Aussie dial a port isn't readily available and its not THAT long a trip across timorous with ele form and a SoW). Although Fay is almost always dead its always a bit nervous approaching the pot room.

Its going to be a looong time before I start killing Kunark dragons (if ever given the competition and my time zone). Have noticed that the mobs I'm killing at the moment in MIstmoore give Ring of Scale faction that the dragons seem to be on ... if I kill enough will Faydedar eventually come off KoS?

Secondly, is there a site somewhere that lists the last known kill time of dragons so I can see when she (?) is due to pop?

dragons are on a variance of some length of time (+-8 hrs or something like that), so technically if you run in there during the wrong 16 hour span you might get plowed over, but with the way this server is about taking down dragons I don't think you'll hardly ever have this issue, Fay can probably hardly stay up much more than the time it takes to mobilize

not a public one


you could always try your luck and just ask people in raid guilds for the window, but generally most mob respawn windows are around saturdays/sundays at the moment

to be honest even if you were running to the firepots during fay's window theres a VERY miniscule chance youd just happen to be there as it spawns

Yes. Kill in Mistmoore enough, you will be non-KOS.

But basically, at +10 (or +20 for a few higher level mobs) if I just keep grinding my 30s (currently 35, have spent a LOT of time here from 20s) in MM I should be able to rest easy approaching the pot room? Honestly he is usually dead within an hour of poping. You would really have to have horrible luck to run into Fay since he is alive basically 2 hours out of every weeks.

This. Plus even if you did have such horrible luck, you'd pretty much be guaranteed to have 1+ clerics with clickers showing up in the vicinity shortly thereafter. As soon as they're done killing the dragon they'd probably be happy to rez you.

But personally I've used the firepots countless times and never even seen Faydedar. Really, it's not worth worrying about.

Yeh I get the luck thing.

I have some exceptionally bad luck sometimes, and peace of mind is priceless. Focusing on an exp sweet spot like MM to finish 30s is not exactly going out of my way!
