Default New Player (Question regarding forced beta)

Hello all,

I've just began playing again 2 days ago and am having a great time!

I'm curious however about this forced beta period. Will I be able to continue leveling my character on the beta server and then have it copied back over to the normal one?

Would suck to have a 2 week break from it all.

Thanks for any input

No, you could get to be level 60 on the Beta server and still be only say level 5 on the Blue server. No gear or anything you get moves back over to Blue or Red. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Well then. Appreciate the clarification. Looks like Ill be taking a break. Although how can a low level char help beta test the new expansion Im curious?

Alternatively, is there a possibility for a realm transfer (Blue to Red)?

No transfers to red, but good exp there and lots of fun.

Forced beta is just until Monday by the way.

Just login, hail the banker and say 'beta buff' or something like that and you get level 60 and some pretty dang good items.

The server will be back up in 2 days time, not in 2 weeks. I'd be going through major withdrawals if so. Check out this mega-nerd's info about all the things you can do on beta with your character and go nuts!

Ya, it was initially stated servers would be back up on Monday (yesterday) but that it might get extended if the devs didn't think enough testing was done. They've since said it'll be up today (Tuesday) at some point so hang in there.

But I feel ya, Mignart. I just started on p99 1 month ago so it's still all new & fresh to me so I'm itching to get back to level up my guy. I'm sure the ppl who've been on p99 for years are bored & the forced beta came as a welcome relief.
