Find a good enchanter who can handle a charmed pet, lull pulling, mezzing and all their other tricks. There really isn't a single group camp you cannot do with this combination.

All of Sol B, LGuk, HS, KC, Chardok (except royals but then... Maybe if you are crazy lucky/ballerstatus), Sebilis (except like Trakanon area), etc.

In Velious it will be much of the same as well. Tons of camps you can duo with safety of a cleric behind you.

Enchanter, but Monk is great too.

Honestly, I've debated about duos and keeping pets with enchanters etc. Some enchanters are under the delusion that they make more xp per hour soloing alone up to a certain level (lower levels, we're talking like pre-cheal levels here, which is probably true. However, you couldn't give a rat's ass about duoing with them at this point, because you'll be soloing unrest up to 40 like a freaking boss, which is some of the best xp you can get at that point, so screw em). Of course, they're saying this without counting all the ridiculous amounts of deaths they have, being forced to zone out because of a break at a bad time, losing all their mana to bad resist breaks, etc.

Once your cleric gets Cheal, theres no reason not to duo if you want raw, unadulterated xp.

You're safer, you have heals and eventually xp rez later on, and you get longevity out of a much more powerful pet when its buffed and hasted.

People love telling you that killing "two pets at once is better than just keeping a hasted pet", which in my experience, is bullshit, because a hasted, buffed, and chealed pet can clear zones much faster than having to worry about the bullshit of nuking both pets down at the end, finding a new pet, repeating the process, etc.

A lot of Chanters have unjustified huge ass egos, and think they're king shit, but trust me, I don't have enough hands and feet on twenty people to count the times that a chanter has begged me for a rez multiple times after their soloing has gone bad.

Honestly, find a good friend, practice with them, get good at chealing and helping the chanter CC, and theres no reason to ever not play this duo for xp. You'll make more xp in the end by cutting out the inefficiency of deaths, zoning, or having to spend too much mana to account for unexpected situations.

Don't forget Jobaber, the Mage Epic Pet. Only need the magician to cast it.

Enchanters make it possible to handle more savage dangerous lands than can be handled with the cleric + mage combo.
