Miscellaneous: Research skill bug

Logged in today on my little lvl 16 necro to find that my research skill (which should be at 16 according to the wiki and everybody else) is showing up as 5 and highlighted in red. I'm also positive it showed up properly at 16 when I trained it.

Caused me to fail my combine and waste some perfectly good Words too [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Also seems to show up correctly as 16 at the trainer:

Research skill is capped at (level-15)*5, so 5 is your cap at level 16.

The discrepancy is due to a mismatch between what the client allows/displays at the training window and what the server enforces.

This is the sort of thing that often happens when trying to emulate an era of a game far older than the client used to represent it.

Ok I understand. Looks like the wiki needs to be updated on that point.

So according to the formula, it's probably not possible to create lvl 16 research spells before lvl 18 or 19 minimum right?
