graphical error of some type.

Ok, I've had the game running for about a week now, and enjoying it. I've had this weird graphical display problem that only existed on the character selection screen. I see some type of random grid displayed over the background, looks like some type of alien writing or something lol. anyway since it was only on the character screen I didn't really care. well I rolled an iksar necro and now I'm finding this error all over the background of Field of Bone, its like a looking through a burlap sack or something. it isn't obscuring the UI components, but makes it really hard to look at the screen and see the curser or anything in the background. is there some way i can fix this, FoB seems important to me as an iksar, and coming and going to kurns tower seems important as a p99 player. Anyone experience this or known fixes?
