Default Instill/Enstill

The duration on this appears to be wrong. It is currently 36 seconds or 6 "ticks".

This thread is old as hell and says that Enstill lasts longer than "Root":

Root is currently 36 seconds, so it's the same duration as Enstill. (Perhaps another issue is that the wiki shows root as lasting "2 ticks @L4 to 8 ticks @L14", when in fact Root only lasts 6 ticks...)

iirc root, immobilize and fetter were considered one line of roots

and enstill, paralyzing earth were their own kind of thing

Root/immobilize were shorter duration, lower resist

enstill/paralyzing lasted much longer, but slightly higher resist at least they always felt like that

Root is a max of 8 ticks and enstill is 16, just tested ingame.

This guy was either getting early breaks or he simply can't count.

Casted on self to retrieve times. I suppose attacking myself gives me PvP times?

Yes, that was it then. Root/snare duration on players when cast by a player is reduced due to a client limitation.
