Storm, or something else?

So, I know there's supposed to be some big storm up north today. Maybe that's all this is, but I'm not sure...

I had been logged in without issue for 2 hours this morning before deciding to make a run to the Karanas. Everything was fine until HHP, where I noticed my ping had shot up to 800ms. Upon zoning into EK, I was met with an indefinite loading screen. After 5 minutes, I ALT+F4'd and tried to log back in.

That was an hour ago, and I've still yet to be able to get back in. Upon trying to load any P1999 server (blue, red, test) it will hang for a minute, then kick me back to login. Occasionally, when logging back in, I'll get an Error 1017 (cannot connect to the EQ server. You may need to re-run the update patch. etc...) I've been able to get on to other servers just fine, but not P1999.

Seeing as how the pop for the server has only been going up, I'm just thinking it might be something on my end.

EDIT: Nevermind. As with everything computer-related... one need only complain about it to make it work again. Within a minute of posting this, I was able to get back in. The pop did jump a bit at the same time, as well. May not have just been me.
