Default Magic resist!

Hey guys, Just wondering if anyone knew how the resists worked on the server. I was looking to build MR and wanted to know the best way to calculate what the sweet spot is.

For example if i managed to get 140 MR would that help allot, Or would it not make much of a diffrence from say 100 MR.

Cannot find any info on this, Maybe overlooked it though. Help would be much appreciated.

Thanks [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.].

One spell can kill you - Malo - MR is irrelevant at that point.

There are fourteen classes in this game of which two receive spells that reduce Magic resistance. Would you not lock your front door if you only got robbed 14% of the time?

Not all PvP is group PvP with a Malosi caster present, so hell yeah stack that MR. Contrary to what you may be told, every little bit helps. My main has nowhere close to the 140 resistance some folks run around with yet I've noticed a significant decrease in the amount of spells that land on me as I've picked up Platinum Jacinth/Wolf's Eye jewelry, Whirling Agate, Bloodstained Mantle, etc.

A Paladin buddy and myself were goofing off at Druid rings waiting for another pal to arrive. I resisted a dozen Roots/Blinds while we were playing around. My Magic resist is nowhere close to 140. Pally was a gamble /con to me as well.

100MR unbuffed is a good target as I understand it, and MR gear is expensive so good luck.

Getting blinded on every cast isn't fun.

For the love (and hate) of all that is holy, stack some MR

100 is a good number, aim for 120 at some point.
