Default Mage Burnout

Is there a easy way to keep up with this, Most the time i just cast it alot on my pet but that seems like a waste. Other times I will look at the clock and just guess it.

Could try a log.txt parser for example: https://eq.gimasoft.com/gina/Default.aspx

It's allowed, doesn't break any rules and is not cheating. However shits not classic!~

You can find the times for spells on the wiki for example: http://wiki.project1999.com/Burnout
Duration 15 minutes This is actually wrong. and has been mentioned in the forums. Sometimes you'll have to dig into the forums or figure out the proper time yourself. I believe someone on the forums said the correct time is something like 6 minutes.

Other spells on the wiki are correct however and as you level you'll have to do the math to figure out the appropriate amount of time as some last longer.

When soloing, I don't cast it ever, since I'm usually chain petting. In a duo or group situation it may be worth it, along with Muzzle, for added dps.

I do not believe so. surely not true for burnout 1 or 2.

Burnout is a super useful spell imo. The difference in damage that a pet does to a target is significantly better when it has the burnout buff on it.

Good for you Itap you seem to love forcing your ways onto people. Let people play the game how they want to. You were off topic. Save your shit for RnF or the proper thread.
I only say this because you basically attacked one of my posts where I mentioned that I buff my pet.

Buff and nuke? If you aren't chain-petting, you're doing it wrong

It is not a mana hog spell to cast. I refresh it a lot. It DOES make a difference. I used Expedience a lot also on Live. It helps also, but that is a Velious Era spell at, I think, level 29.. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Expedience is level 29. It's a cheap cast (mana) as well as burnout and is well worth it. It is a bummer there isn't a command to see what your pet has on it. I know it's not classic but neither is P99. Similar to classic** Might as well hook up some cool stuff that is easy to do in this version. Just my opinion.

In response to Itap, I've been away for 13 years but as I remember if you let your pet do more than 50% of the damage you only get half exp for the kill is that not right? I remember I always had to toss in a few nukes so I got full exp. Has this changed? I only just started again this week and have a level 7 mage. Wouldn't you be gimping your exp. Unless your killing the mobs more than twice as fast this method.
