Ragefire: A game old enough to drive a car; still can't launch new server right

So Everquest Live's Progression server Ragefire was scheduled to launch at 6:00PM EST. At 5:30pm I decided to take a shower; my last for what could be through Memorial Day weekend. Server is launched at 5:35pm.

Then, players exploit a pay-to-win feature on normal servers and instantly start with level 50s, begin transfering the free plat and powerleveling alts. Server is immediately locked but players that got in (even with exploits) are allowed to keep playing.

Something tells me if this was P99 the devs would be smart enough to shut it down immediately, wipe it, and start it right. I guess you don't always get what you pay for...
