![]() Is there a way to tell which faction is a mob's "main" faction?
For instance, let's say I kill Guard Bixby in Qeynos Hills; I'll get the following faction hits:
Now let's say my Antonius Bayle and Guards of Qeynos of factions are maxxed, but my Merchants of Qeynos faction is rock bottom: as I understand it Bixby won't attack me when he respawns, because "Merchants of Qeynos" isn't his "main" faction. If that's correct is there any way to determine what Bixby's "main" faction is? For Bixby I would assume it's "Guards of Qeynos", but for all I know it could be "Antonious Bayle", and for plenty of other mobs it's even less clear.

![]() well first off.. Whats on the Wiki for faction hits is USUALLY wrong.. very rarely will you find a mob that you kill where all 3 factions drop by the same amount even if they are "allied" with each other..
Because if you kill whatever, whatever faction that is on top of the list is almost always the faction that mob belongs too and the rest are "washover" factions aka factions that the main faction is "allied" with So like I just killed Guard Bixby on Live for shit and giggles and while not classic I seriosly doubt the faction hits have changed that much(cause why bother right? Old world stuff) Got the following hits: Your faction standing with Guards of Qeynos has been adjusted by -150 Your faction standing with Antonius Bayle has been adjusted by -22 Your faction standing with Corrupt Guards of Qeynos has been adjusted by 22 Your faction standing with Circle of the Unseen Hands has been adjusted by 33 Your faction standing with Merchants of Qeynos has been adjusted by -15 Which actually makes alot more sense then what the P99 wiki says because Guards of Qeynos, Antonius Bayle, and Merchants of Qeynos are "friends" but those factions also have their enemies so got to give positive hits for killing a good guard which goes to Corrupt Qeynos guards and Circle of the Unseen Hands. Its just like killing a Freeport Militia guard.. Positive hits to NFP but Negative hits to Freeport Militia and Coalition of Tradefolk Underground/Illegal | ||
