Default New player to EQ

Hey yall! Finally got my install of p99 to work and rolled a high elf Paladin last night [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I've played EQOA & FFXI for years and loved the community/grouping/difficulty of those MMOs and haven't found a modern game to fill the void...

I'm more of a casual player now due to time, but i'm already having fun in classic EQ and think i will be staying awhile [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

that's all, just wanted to say hi !

Howdy, Pally is a good choice overall. Not the top in this game but play what you like, not what is the most popular. Also you are allowed, lol, to play more than one toon, so you can try out others down the road. It is a great server and will get even better at the end of this month. Paladins are awesome in my opinion, especially once Velious comes. But be wary, soloing spots are kinda rare and without some twink gear it could be hard for you. But as long as you enjoy the class, that wont matter.

Thanks for not putting me down on rolling a Pally [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I loved Pallys in EQOA and FFXI, though I may roll a bard or druid at some point.

Look me up in the game on Korlic or Faesil if you need any help with anything.

My original main character back in 2002 was a dorf paladin. Loved him. Yes, we may not do hardly any dps, but we are one of the most unkillable classes. Feels great when you live by the skin of your teeth.

Welcome to P99(Project 1999) I started playing about a week ago myself. I made a Bard, first time playing one. I used to have a Dwarf Pally back in the day, fun class.

Welcome back Malidar. If you're up for it, send me a /t - Grotbags the Shammy.
I'll happily kill Orcs with you.
