Default chat filter bug

Worn off spell messages are under:
Filter > Other
rather than:
Filter > Spells > Worn off

Please fix it. These worn off messages are very important to me, more important that most group chat even. As a druid I buff quite a bit with short duration buffs (~10 mins), like regeneration and Damage shield.

I have a chat window where important stuff goes, like group chat and tells, I also want worn off spells to go in this chat window. I don't want all the other "Filter > Other" stuff to go into this window as well.

Also, is it possible to change the color of "spell has worn off"? I tried and it didn't work for me.

Yes that's true, I forgot about that.

Please be a little more specific, about the filter level. Is there a menu item for worn off messages? We cannot change what is on the list? Or is it filtering under the wrong thing? Also I remember on live, this being a yellow message. What is it here? It will save me some time with a few more specifics, so I can go in and look to see if there is an issue.

"Filters > Spells > Worn off" is an existing item in the list. However, there don't seem to be any chat messages connected with this.

The yellow spell worn off messages are connected with "Filters > Other".

So yes it's filtered under the wrong thing. "Filters > Other" instead of "Filters > Spells > Worn off"

In Options > Colors, there is an item called "Spell worn off", which is default yellow, but changing this has no effect on the yellow text you get with worn off spells.

So yes worn off messages are always yellow and the worn off messages go into the chat box where "Filters > Other" is selected.

Bump,

I was wondering why I can't ever get my messages in the right windows.

I too agree that this is very important!!!

ROFL! Had you not said anything I would never have noticed. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Seriously though it is worth fixing.

A fix is coded and tested. It just needs patched live now.
