Helldump was basically a callout forum. If posters were particularly terrible, someone would make a thread about them and the various stupid shit they'd done on the forums or other places on the internet (like furry websites or child porn forums). It got closed because the regulars turned it into a festering shithole more about themselves than the people they were supposed to be calling out.

That's also my memory of helldump. A callout forum within the SA forums.

Less doxing and more like digging up your deviantart/dating profile/other internet stuff to make fun of you with. I don't doubt that doxing occurred but the point was to ridicule and embarass your posting enemies
