Hello fellows EQers !

Just dropping a few words to introduce myself :

I'm a former EQ player, played from vanilla until LDON (on Karana server, that used to be the preferred French server) and quit after.
I played some other major mmorpg since then (daoc, ao, sb, eq2, wow and some others)

But I never found the EQ feeling again. We discussed this with some former EQ mates-IRL friends, I even tried to play EQ again last year, only to find me completely lost.

Until I heard about this great project (seriously guys, you re doing an exceptionnal job)
I jumped aboard, created a small bard (completely new to bard, I used to play ench and necro).
Can't hide the fact that I was very apprehensive (was it gonna be desert, was it gonna be too hard for an old guy like me, is it good in my memory only cause of nostalgy and the great people I used to play with ?)

One word ... Ouch !
I almost got addicted right back ! I met (well, saw is a better word [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] ) a lot of people in the starting zone (of Qeynos), and a generous sponsor gave me a silverish cimetar and a few plat to help me re start (I'm ashamed to admit I forgot your name, sir Iksar) !

Now I m struggling with levels again, but that's a great feeling (but if someone could point me to a bard ultra newbie guide, I'd love it !)

Again, Thumbs up for the project team, you provided me a great time, mixed of old memories and new discoveries
