![]() Anyone else bothered by fizzle rate, especially on certain spells?
Enstill on a necro is a good example, it has a really high fizzle rate for some reason. But really all spells seem to fizzle a lot more than they should with maxed skills at 60, and often when there is a fizzle, they come in doubles and triples.

![]() Root
30 Mana 2.0s Cast time 54 Second duration Enstill 60 Mana 2.5s Cast Time 102 Second Duration Paralyzing Earth 100 Mana 2.5s Cast Time 180 Second Duration Immobilize 80 Mana 1.75 Cast Time 66? Second Duration I like enstill becuase it's a good balance between hold duration and mana cost. For many mobs it's a perfect hold time for root dotting. One enstill will cover a full splurt duration for example. Root wears often doesn't last long enough, Paralyze is often overkill and wastes mana, especially if you have to recast it because of a break.

![]() I'm definitely in the Paralyzing Earth camp on necro roots - I'll slow play rotting a mob if I'm low mana and I need something close to the full 3 minutes.
By the time you have lich at 49 the extra 20-40 mana really shouldn't be a big issue - and it if is you're living on the edge and might need to FD/zone if something resists. Slow and steady, its the necro way...and ironically, it'll keep you alive [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] <3

![]() My spells seem to be interrupted by what appears to literally nothing (maybe the wind blew so hard that I had to adjust my footing, thus throwing off my concentration) than they fizzle.
