How much dkp for a seven hour wipe?

I was thinking about joining good guys, is it true i can log on for master yael and ragefire and get just as much dkp as someone who spent 4 hours prepping and 3 hours hours wiping just to snipe sev?

They get 2 ragefire dkp, but......no one farmed pearls so they rage and gather 50+ 2 kill merchant then log.
