Question Axe of the Slayers VS Executioner's Axe

Axe of the Slayers VS Executioner's Axe

Currently I'm thinking about trying 2H Axe for my Ogre Warrior. I already have 2 Obsidian Shards and its awesome. But I do want to switch a bit when I am not tanking to pure DPS.

Why these 2 axes? Because these are fairly cheap to obtain. (My first toon)

My questions, for those that actually owned one of these axes, which one do you like the most and why?

I'm kind of lean toward Ex. Axe due the fact that it looked so sick. I don't know what Axe of the Slayers looks like.

Thx

axe of slayers for sure.

exe axe has a haste proc, I forget how much haste it gives you but its nothing too crazy. Plus it only lasts 6-8 seconds I forget, but it wipes any haste buff someone has casted on you which is pretty annoying.

Also the proc on slayer axe is sick, it increases your STR, but the best part is it gives you 78 hp damage absorption, which is fantastic if you are duoing with a cleric / shaman, free heals pretty much.

The DPS on the exe axe is slightly higher, but not a deal breaker. The axe of slayers is waaaay more mana effecient in a pair or trio exping.

It helped me level from 30-40 as an ogre warrior, for looks its the same as a battleaxe, except it is gold.

Exe Axe is big and narrow. Slayers is shorter, gold, and with a more elaborate skin.

IIRC, Slayers is basically a gold-tinted Silvery TwoHanded Axe, if that gives you a concrete idea of what it looks like...

I saw both of them sell around 250pp and 500 PP, just about same price of Obsidian Shard.
