Screen freezing within a couple of minutes of loading in

Within a couple minutes of loading into the game eq window freezes and I have to close the game out... Only happens on one character, and has only started since the last patch. Rarely makes it more than a couple minutes before freezing.

Anyone else having this problem? Tried deleting my UI files for that char and my log file (it was rather large)... no help.

Tried with wineq too.. no difference.
