Default kunar camps likely to be perma-camped?

Hello, just a quick question about the likeability of certain camps in kunark to be perma-camped, in particular the sebiis mob that drops fungus covered great staff. Up until it is nerfed that is, seeing how it is an amazing item and trying to compete with others that have the ability to play longer just wondering if I should even attempt to camp it off peak hours with my minimum (ie, 6 hours weekly) playtime.

1st, this question cannot be answered until Kunark opens. If your off of peak hours, your looking at competing against 300-400 other players. Zone in, call a CC, and do your business.

Unfortunately EQ favored people with alot of free time. The way the game was made just favors people that way.

That said, this item will likely take nearly a full group of people to camp so there isn't really any reason not to try to form a group or try to get into a group already there.

Everything very rare/useful will be mostly out of reach for normal players if its a solo camp, and likely even if its a group camp. If its only going to spawn for a limited time, odds are long that you'll get a shot at it unless its a normal grouping area.

The exceptions being droppable items which will eventually be purchasable assuming they don't have exceptional worth like sleeper warden loots.

But, yes, in general its the people that are on at 8am and still at 11pm that will drive the server (or those in motivated guilds). And that's just how it was in classic.

I think it will be bad, but maybe not as bad as it was lets say 8 years+ ago. Most of us played EQ classic/RoK/SoV when we were younger, probably back in middle school, high school, and college. Now a lot of us are probably at a point where we have other things to take care of; "real" jobs, wives, kids, and other things that don't involve 10 year old video games [You must be logged in to view images. Yeah... my situation is a little different...

2000: 21 year old with 20 year old live-in-gf who didn't mind me playing 40-60 hours a week because I'd give her my bank card and told her to go have fun.

2010: 31 year old with 24 year old wife and 1 year old daughter, both of whom would freak out if I spent more than 90 minutes a day playing a game that I couldn't walk away from at a moment's notice.

However, I'm still really really ridiculously good looking.

2000: Morning sports practices (FB/Wrestling/boxing), school during day, and then hours upon hours of EQ
2010: Deployed to Iraq, and I think I honestly have more time to play EQ now than ever haha! But if I was back home, I got a wife, 8 year old, and a 1 month old, so I'd be busy as fuuuuuuuck
